Common questions
How do I create an event?
First invite the bot to your channel with /invite @Business Casual, then type /outing to open the event planner.
How does RSVP work?
Team members react to the event post with ✅ going, 🤔 maybe, or ❌ can't make it. The counts update automatically.
How do I edit or delete an event?
Use /outing manage to see your upcoming events with Edit and Delete buttons, or use the ⋮ overflow menu on the event post.
Why isn't the bot posting in my channel?
The bot needs to be invited to the channel first. Run /invite @Business Casual in the channel before using /outing.
How do reminders work?
Attendees who RSVPd going or maybe automatically receive a DM the day before and one hour before the event.
