Business Casual ("we", "us", "our") is a Slack application that helps teams plan and coordinate work outings. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights regarding it.
By installing or using Business Casual, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app from your Slack workspace.
Business Casual is operated as an independent Slack application. For privacy questions or data requests, contact us at hello@businesscasual.app.
We collect only the data required to operate the app. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

We do not collect: passwords, email addresses, message content from your channels, files, or any data outside of what is listed above.
We do not use your data to train machine learning models, run analytics for advertising, or share it with any third party outside of the infrastructure providers listed below.
All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) in the United States. Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by AWS at the storage layer.
Access to the database is restricted to the application runtime and is not accessible from the public internet.

When a workspace uninstalls Business Casual, the bot token is deleted immediately. Remaining workspace data (events, RSVPs) is purged within 90 days of uninstall.
We do not use analytics platforms, advertising networks, or any other third-party data processors beyond those listed above.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@businesscasual.app. We will respond within 30 days. Note that workspace admins can also uninstall the app at any time, which triggers immediate deletion of the bot token.

Business Casual is intended for workplace use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
